About the Project

Resurface a 2,520 foot section of Falcon Way from Wren Court to Refugio Valley Road. Street will receive a full-width asphalt cement (AC) overlay with the center of the roadway receiving full AC digout and the peripheries receiving a wedge grind.

Project Updates

February 2026 - Notice to Proceed is February 2, 2026. Six ADA ramps installed. Paving to commence March 2 with completion anticipated the first week of April. Wren and Finch Courts will receive a full asphalt replacement.

November 2025 - Contract execution pending. Notice to proceed anticipated in July 2026.

September 2025 - MCK Services, Inc. is the apparent low bidder. Project to be awarded at the October 14, 2025 Council meeting.

August 2025 - Project out for bid. Bids due September 2, 2025.

June 2025 - 65 percent design. Roadway will be restriped for an 11-foot width travel lane in each direction to reduce traffic speeds. Cape seal repair of Wren and Finch Courts will be considered if sufficient funding is available. Bid scheduled for late summer 2025, construction anticipated late Fall 2025/Winter 2026.
